K house interior design

House is located in the new settlement, on the very end of the Leverkusen, Germany.
Former meadows are turned into construction zone in order to form a luxury settlement.
The main challenge was generic approach in the building of the houses, which is quite common in German-speaking countries. In the settlement that more or less every house looks the same, with minimal differences and where zone of intervention begin and ends in the interior.
The idea was to create the ambient, that is on the first hand familiar and warm, and after that unique and adapted for the client’s needs, that are during the long period of time often be forced to change place of living, all work induced. In those moving, they managed to cultivate specific needs and habits, which are direct consequence to the different cultures and traditions they used to live in. In the biggest part of the problem was to “destroy” sterility of the white walls and light wood coloured parquet, which are, again, predefined, yet maintain the balance and not go too far with intention to neutralise the “sameness” of the houses in the area
